About SMU Global Summer Programme (GSP)
It is a 4-week intensive programme offers courses in three tracks, including Digital Intelligence, Asian Insights, and Sustainable Futures. Students may mix and match courses from different tracks. Each course is designed with 36 contact hours, spread over three interactive seminar style classes per week. HKUST nominated exchange students are required to take 2 courses during the 4-week programme.
Students may have the chance to delve into the heart of renowned corporations through exclusive corporate visits, gaining invaluable insights. Through the programme, students may dive into Singapore’s rich cultural tapestry, exploring its traditions, cuisines, and heritage.

Session 2: 7 July - 1 August 2025
Notes:
- Host Institutions may provide orientation activities for students, with some mandatory, which you should attend. You are required to pay attention to the host institution's arrival information and arrive in time.
- You should only depart after completion of the program (i.e. finishing all final examinations and/or assessments, both compulsory and optional ones).
Fees
HKUST-nominated students may join this program in-person in either way shown below:
- Exchange - Under the student exchange agreement, students joining this program as exchange students will have tuition and application fees waived. HKUST-nominated exchange students will bear the costs for accommodation, meals, travel, visa, insurance, personal expenses and other costs incurred by the program.
- Partnership - HKUST-nominated partnership students can participate in the program as fee-paying students. HKUST-nominated fee-paying students applying through and nominated by HKUST can enjoy the partnership benefit shown in below table.
