About National University of Singapore
The National University of Singapore (NUS) is a national public research university in Singapore. The university offers degree programmes in disciplines at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including in the sciences, medicine and dentistry, design and environment, law, arts and social sciences, engineering, business, computing, and music.
About Biodiversity Summer Programme
This is a 5 weeks programme that provides a great opportunity for international students who wish to learn more about Biodiversity in Southeast Asia while getting to know more about Singapore.
HKUST-nominated students are required to enroll in both courses (worth 8 units) below. Please refer to their website for the course descriptions.

Fees
HKUST-nominated students will enjoy a tuition fee waiver. HKUST students will bear the costs for accommodation, meals, travel, visa, insurance, personal expenses and all other costs incurred by the program. For details, please refer to their webiste.

Eligibility and Application Process
HKUST students must apply through the Office of Global Learning. Individual direct application to the host institution will not be accepted. You are eligible to apply for the program if you:

Visa Information
All students are required to obtain a valid Students' Pass (Student Visa). For more inforamtion about the student visa application, please visit NUS website.
Health Insurance
HKUST students who take part in the University's study abroad programs will be covered by the University's Travel Insurance Plan. Please CLICK HERE for details.
Accommodation
HKUST students must stay in one of the accommodation options offered by the host institution (if applicable). If you choose not to stay in any of them, you must obtain a pre-approval from HKUST by emailing OGL at study.abroad@ust.hk.
Accommodation for overseas participants are arranged at University Town. Participants will pay the “NUS Student” room rates. Accommodation for participants will be confirmed nearer to the programme start date.
