About AU Summer University

This is your chance for a summer experience at a top 100 university in Aarhus, Denmark. As all teaching is research-based, courses have a strong academic foundation. AU Summer University offers more than 85 courses within all academic areas. Course information can be found HERE. Social programs are also available.

HKUST-nominated students will participate in both Term 1 + Term 2 and take one course in each of the term. Students can only take courses with the dates falling within the term dates listed below

* Notes:

  • Host Institutions may provide orientation activities for students, with some mandatory, which you should attend. You are required to pay attention to the host institution's arrival information and arrive in time.
  • You should only depart after completion of the program (i.e. finishing all final examinations and/or assessments, both compulsory and optional ones).

 

Fees

This is a fee-paying program and HKUST students will bear the program fee and the costs for accommodation, travel, visa, insurance, personal expenses and other fees incurred by the program.

Visa Information

Depending on your nationality and the length of your stay you may need a visa to enter Denmark. Please CLICK HERE for more information.


Insurance

HKUST students who take part in the University's study abroad programs will be covered by the University's Travel Insurance Plan. Please CLICK HERE for details.
