About Nanyang Technological University

About GEM Trailblazer Summer 2026 programme

It offers more than 35 courses across 5 tracks.  From experiencing a full Asian cultural experience to opportunities in enhancing your future business career in Asia and staying abreast with the latest technology in 3D Printing! The teaching mode for all courses is in-person. 

HKUST-nominated exchange students are required to take 2 courses offered in Track 1, 3, 4 and 5 only. For course details, please refer to NTU website (Under Tab "Coursework").

  • Host Institutions may provide orientation activities for students, with some mandatory, which you should attend. You are required to pay attention to the host institution's arrival information and arrive in time.
  • You should only depart after completion of the program (i.e. finishing all final examinations and/or assessments, both compulsory and optional ones).


Fees

HKUST-nominated exchange students will have tuition fee waived. HKUST students will bear the costs for accommodation, meals, travel, visa, insurance, personal expenses and all other costs incurred by the program. For details, please refer to NTU website

Eligibility and Application Process

HKUST students must apply through the Office of Global Learning. Individual direct application to the host institution will not be accepted. You are eligible to apply for the program if you:

Visa Information

You are responsible to check the visa requirements with Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) in advance. For details, please refer to NTU website, section "Visa enquiries" under tab "Student Resources & Contact".


Health Insurance

HKUST students who take part in the University's study abroad programs will be covered by the University's Travel Insurance Plan. Please CLICK HERE for details.


Accommodation

HKUST students must stay in one of the accommodation options offered by the host institution (if applicable). If you choose not to stay in any of them, you must obtain a pre-approval from HKUST by emailing OGL at study.abroad@ust.hk.

NTU summer students shall be housed on campus based on double occupancy (twin-sharing). Please refer to NTU website (Under tab "Housing").
