About Hochschule Munich University of Applied Sciences

About Munich Summer Schools of Applied Sciences
Munich Summer Schools of Applied Sciences (MSSAS) offers a wide range of engineering and economics courses, all taught in English, from Automotive, Industrial, and Electrical Engineering to Entrepreneurship. Learn from experienced professors and international partners, gain hands-on experience, and benefit from strong ties to local industry. HKUST-nominated students will join MSSAS in in-person mode only.

Fees
HKUST-nominated exchange students will have tuition fee waived. HKUST students will bear the costs for accommodation, meals, travel, visa, insurance, personal expenses and all other costs incurred by the program.

Eligibility and Application Process
HKUST students must apply through the Office of Global Learning. Individual direct application to the host institution will not be accepted. You are eligible to apply for the program if you:

Visa Information
Depending on your nationality and the length of your stay you may need a visa to enter Germany. Please CLICK HERE for more information.
Health Insurance
HKUST students who take part in the University's study abroad programs will be covered by the University's Travel Insurance Plan. Please CLICK HERE for details.
Accommodation
HKUST students must stay in one of the accommodation options offered by the host institution (if applicable). If you choose not to stay in any of them, you must obtain a pre-approval from HKUST by emailing OGL at study.abroad@ust.hk.
