About SJTU LEC Winter School
SJTU LEC International Summer School (ISS) provides a distinctive opportunity for both SJTU undergraduates and external students. Since its inception, SJTU LEC ISS has welcomed more than 15,000 students from all over the world. Participants immerse themselves in academic courses, cultural activities, and business tours, gaining a comprehensive educational experience in Shanghai.

Course
HKUST-nominated students are required to take courses delivered in in-person format. Students can choose up to 3 courses. For detailed course list, please refer to their website. Courses may run out as time goes by. Students are strongly recommended to apply early and must be flexible in course selection.
Fees
HKUST students will bear the program fee, accommodation, visa, insurance, personal expenses and other fees incurred by the program.

Visa Information
Depending on your nationality and the length of your stay you may need a visa to study in Mainland China. Details will be provided by the host institution.
Health Insurance
HKUST students who take part in the University's study abroad programs will be covered by the University's Travel Insurance Plan. Please CLICK HERE for details.
Accommodation
HKUST students must stay in one of the accommodation options offered by the host institution (if applicable). If you choose not to stay in any of them, you must obtain a pre-approval from HKUST by emailing us at study.abroad@ust.hk.
Accommodation is not gauranteed and few accommodation options are available on a first-come-first-served basis. In cases that no accommodation can be arranged by the host institution, you are required to arrange your own accommodation.
