About University of St Andrews
Founded in the 15th century, St Andrews is Scotland's first university and the third oldest in the English-speaking world. Teaching began in the community of St Andrews in 1410, and the University was formally constituted by the issue of a papal bull in 1413. The University of St Andrews is comprised of a number of Academic Schools and Departments, which are organized into four Faculties.
About St Andrews Summer Study
Coordinated through the University's Global Office, St Andrews Summer Study offers international undergraduate students the opportunity to spend 3-4 weeks studying for credit at the University of St Andrews. The undergraduate-level courses allow students to fully experience the academic rigour and quintessential feel of, and Scotland, first-hand. Alongside the academic studies, there is a programme of excursions, cultural and social activities that will allow students to experience Scotland’s culture, famous cities and stunning landscapes. Program Date
HKUST-nominated students will participate in one of the three programs listed below.
Notes:
- Host Institutions may provide orientation activities for students, with some mandatory, which you should attend. You are required to pay attention to the host institution's arrival information and arrive in time.
- You should only depart after completion of the program (i.e. finishing all final examinations and/or assessments, both compulsory and optional ones).
Fees
This is a fee-paying program and HKUST-nominated students will bear the tuition fee and the costs for accommodation, meals, travel, visa, insurance, personal expenses and all other fees incurred by the program. For details about fees, please CLICK HERE.
