Participating students will take the academic course: "Global Political Economy: Vietnam-the Region-The World", with details below:

  • The course bears 2 VU academic credits.
  • The course comprises in-class lectures and site visits/excursions.
  • Official transcript will be issued upon course completion.


Fees

This is a sponsored program and HKUST will sponsor the program fee, flight ticket, and accommodation fee. HKUST students will bear the costs of meals and personal expenses.

  • Round trip flight ticket between Hong Kong and Hanoi, Vietnam
  • Visa fee (if applicable)
  • Accommodation fee
  • Local transportation involved in site visits/excursions/tours organized by the host university

Flight arrangement

Students participating in this program MUST travel to the destination in one group. HKUST Office of Global Learning will arrange group travel for participating students. 

Students are usually given a short notice period to confirm your air ticket (i.e. within a day). Please watch your mailbox very closely after you have received your offer (including your junk folder).
