About Shanghai International Studies University
Founded in 1949, Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) has a diverse and distinctive mix in the fields of arts, education, economics, management and law with language and literature as its pillar. Currently, SISU offer courses in 33 modern languages including English, Russian, French, German, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Korean, Persian, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Swedish, Dutch, Hebrew, Ukrainian, Turkish, Hindi, Hungarian, Uzbek, Kazakh, Polish, Czech, Urdu, Malay, Swahili, Javanese, Pashto, Tajik and Chinese. We also teach 6 classical and constructed languages, Latin, Ancient Greek, Old English, Sanskrit, Classical Syriac and Esperanto. SISU has two campuses, Hongkou Campus and Songjiang Campus, covering a total area of 74.7 hectares. The two campuses are closely interrelated but distinct with their own features. The SISU Library, one of the three core members of CALIS China Library Consortium of Foreign Studies Universities, has a total collection of around 1 million cataloged volumes (over half in foreign languages) and over 1.1 million electronic documents.About Shanghai

Step 1: Complete HKUST application form and submit supplementary documents
Step 2: The Host Institution Application (TO BE COMPLETED AFTER YOU ARE NOMINATED BY YOUR SCHOOL)
If you are nominated, you will be notified to submit a formal host institution application. Your School will provide you with detailed information and application instructions in due course.
