About Global Innovation Exchange Summer Program
The GIX Summer Program is a two week innovation “boot camp” designed to introduce participants to the skills they will need to take an innovation from concept to development and on to launch. Modeled after the University of Washington’s interdisciplinary Master of Science in Technology Innovation (MSTI) curriculum, week one of the GIX Summer Program will offer intensive workshops in design thinking, technology development, and entrepreneurship taught by GIX faculty and leaders in industry. Week two will place participants alongside GIX graduate students and industry sponsors to work on current projects providing participants with practical insight to the launch process. Participants will also have time to enjoy the vibrant culture and spectacular scenery of the Seattle metropolitan area.
Date
Two weeks from 9 - 20 July 2018
