About UCLA Summer Sessions
During the summer months, UCLA opens its doors to students from all over the world. With over 1,200 academic courses to choose from, UCLA Summer Sessions offers highly motivated undergraduates a chance to advance their learning by experiencing the academic rigor and excellence UCLA is known for. Courses are taught by UCLA's outstanding faculty and instructors in a variety of lengths and formats.
Courses are offered over different sessions of varying lengths. Course information can be found HERE. International students are required to be registered full-time (i.e. enrolled in a minimum number of credits) to fulfill the visa requirement. - Host Institutions may provide orientation activities for students, with some mandatory, which you should attend. You are required to pay attention to the host institution's arrival information and arrive in time.
- You should only depart after completion of the program (i.e. finishing all final examinations and/or assessments, both compulsory and optional ones).
Fees

Visa Information
International students who do not have an F-1 visa, or have been outside the U.S. for more than 5 months, will be required to obtain the I-20 form from UCLA and apply for an F-1 visa from their local U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Please CLICK HERE for details.
Health Insurance
Health insurance is a federal requirement for all international students – no exceptions. To protect students from the high cost of health care in the United States, UCLA automatically enrolls all registered international students in a two-part health insurance plan. For details, please CLICK HERE.

Accommodation
UCLA offers furnished residence halls and residential suites within easy walking distance of classrooms, libraries, and recreational facilities for summer students. Once enrolled, students are then eligible to sign up for UCLA Summer Sessions Housing. For details, please CLICK HERE.
