About King's College London
King's College London was founded by King George IV and the Duke of Wellington in 1829. When the University of London was established in 1836, King's became one of its two founding colleges. While remaining part of the University of London, King's has enjoyed financial and academic autonomy since 1994.
About KCL Undergraduate Summer School (USS)
King's Undergraduate Summer School delivers globally-renowned, research-led teaching including lectures, small group seminars, and workshops to make summer classes as engaging and informative as possible. USS offers a wide range of modules spanning subject areas such as health and science, law, governance, business management, and culture.
Each module lasts two weeks and modules are offered in two different sessions. HKUST-nominated students will participate in BOTH Session One AND Session Two, and take two modules.

Notes:
- Host Institutions may provide orientation activities for students, with some mandatory, which you should attend. You are required to pay attention to the host institution's arrival information and arrive in time.
- You should only depart after completion of the program (i.e. finishing all final examinations and/or assessments, both compulsory and optional ones)
Fees
This is a fee-paying program and HKUST-nominated students will bear the tuition fee and the costs for accommodation, meals, travel, visa, insurance, personal expenses and all other costs incurred by the program. For details about fees, please CLICK HERE (under “Programme Fees” tab).

Visa Information
Students may be required to apply for a visa to attend the program. Please refer to the website of Government of UK and USS (under “Visa & Immigration” tab) for information.
Health Insurance
HKUST students who take part in the University's study abroad programs will be covered by the University's Travel Insurance Plan. Please CLICK HERE for details.
