About University of Cambridge

Pembroke College, founded in 1347 by Marie de St Pol, Countess of Pembroke, is the third oldest of the Cambridge colleges. Located in the heart of the University city, Pembroke presents a tranquil environment with varied architectural styles framing beautiful gardens and open courts. About Pembroke Cambridge Summer Programme
The Pembroke Cambridge Summer Programme offers a unique opportunity for a diverse cohort of students from all around the world to enjoy outstanding small-group teaching in a beautiful and inspiring academic setting.
Living in Pembroke College, students can choose three courses from subjects in various disciplines. Students can also apply to take a supervision, in which you would meet weekly with an expert to work on a series of research-based papers, or a longer dissertation, in your major subject area. Outside class, a diverse and fun range of social, cultural and sporting activities is on offer. After the summer, you can maintain your Cambridge connection through lifelong membership of the Pembroke College Circle.

- Host Institutions may provide orientation activities for students, with some mandatory, which you should attend. You are required to pay attention to the host institution's arrival information and arrive in time.
- You should only depart after completion of the program (i.e. finishing all final examinations and/or assessments, both compulsory and optional ones).
Fees
This is a fee-paying program and HKUST students will bear the program fee, the costs for travel, visa, personal expenses and other administrative fees. Eligibility
HKUST students must apply through the Office of Global Learning. Individual direct application to the host institution will not be accepted. You are eligible to apply for the program if you:
- are aged 18 or above by the start of program and;
- have completed at least one year of undergraduate study by the start of the program; and
- have a CGA of 3.2 or above; and
- fulfil the requirements listed under HKUST Summer Study Abroad Program brochure page.

Insurance
You must have insurance to cover all medical expenses internationally and disruptions to travel. For details, please CLICK HERE.

Accommodation
HKUST students must stay in one of the accommodation options offered by the host institution (if applicable). If you choose not to stay in any of them, you must obtain a pre-approval from HKUST by emailing OGL at study.abroad@ust.hk.
