About University of Pennsylvania

Penn has a proud tradition of intellectual rigor and boundary-breaking innovation that dates back to its founder, Benjamin Franklin. That tradition lives today through the creativity, entrepreneurship, and engagement of our faculty, students, and staff.

Penn is one of the world's most powerful research and teaching institutions, with a research budget last year topping $800 million and more than 4,000 active faculty members. Penn's eminent, award-winning educators and scholars encourage students to follow their passions, pursue inquiry and discovery, and address the most challenging problems through an interdisciplinary approach.

About Penn Summer Global Institute

Penn Summer Global Institute is a comprehensive academic experience for top undergraduates from around the world with high English proficiency. As a pre-arranged package, undergraduates spend 6 weeks as visiting students, and experience everything Penn has to offer: earning Ivy League credits alongside other Penn students, living and dining on campus, and socializing with other Penn students from the U.S. and abroad.

The Penn Summer Global Institute experience allows students to choose 2 undergraduate courses that meet their academic path. Along with classes, students will benefit from Penn's range of exceptional resources, including academic advising, and get exposure to the cultural and social features of living on campus in Philadelphia. And while visiting, students can take advantage of Philadelphia's close proximity to other major cities on the east coast.

Course information can be found HERE.
